"Beyond The Veil began life way back in 2001 before the band Flesh-Resonance was formed by Keith Hill & myself.
Nearly half the album had already been written when Flesh-Resonance came kicking & screaming into the world but due to the amount of time spent working on our new band’s debut, The Dark Between The Stars, I never managed to finish my solo album...that is until now.
After the release of the second Flesh-Resonance album, The Feast Of Shadows, I thought the time was right to resurrect my solo release. After a lot of hard work, Beyond The Veil is finally here.
My original vision for this album was of a dark, brooding collection of music, something different, something that would evoke emotion. I envisioned this music being put to good use in movies, theatre, anything that requires ambience & feeling. I think this album lives up to that original vision & I hope you, the listener, agree.
If you enjoy my music & know of anybody who might benefit from its use then please get in touch as I’m eager for my work to be incorporated into other forms of media. Maybe you or someone you know is looking for a new piece of music for a project - I’m interested in writing new pieces as well so just let me know.
The release of Beyond The Veil has inspired me to begin work on a second solo album - I’m sure this one won’t be quite as delayed as the first one, only time will tell.
